Location: Mumbai (Corporate Office)
Work Days & Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM 6:30 PM (1st, 2nd & 4th Saturday off)
Reporting To: Business CEO CPD and functionally to CHRO
Role Summary:
The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic advisor to the Consumer Products Division leadership, aligning people strategy with business objectives. The role requires a balance of strategic partnering and plant-level HR execution, ensuring talent management, compliance, and engagement initiatives are effectively implemented across corporate and manufacturing locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with Business CEO, CHRO, and senior leadership to translate business goals into actionable HR strategies.
- Lead workforce planning, organizational design, and manpower budgeting to support growth and operational efficiency.
- Provide advisory support on talent management, succession planning, and leadership development.
Plant-Level HR & Compliance:
- Partner with plant HR teams to ensure consistent execution of HR policies, statutory compliance, and employee engagement programs.
- Conduct periodic plant visits to oversee compliance audits, grievance handling, and disciplinary case management.
- Drive uniformity in HR processes across corporate and plant locations.
Talent & Performance Management:
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for corporate and plant roles within agreed timelines.
- Manage performance review cycles, feedback processes, and capability-building initiatives.
- Evaluate and implement training programs to meet business skill requirements.
HR Operations & Analytics:
- Utilize HRMS platforms, dashboards, and analytics to track key HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
- Prepare and present HR MIS reports for leadership review.
- Ensure accurate and timely HR documentation and reporting.
Employee Engagement & Culture:
- Design and implement engagement programs to enhance employee morale and retention.
- Lead recognition and reward initiatives aligned with company culture.
- Foster a positive work environment through proactive communication and conflict resolution.
Team Structure & Span of Control:
- Directly manage a small corporate HR team and provide functional guidance to plant HR managers.
- Act as the central liaison between corporate leadership and plant HR teams.
Candidate Profile:
- Total Experience: 10 to 15 years, with at least 5 to 7 years in an HRBP role within manufacturing/FMCG/consumer products.
- Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRMS platforms, Excel, HR dashboards, and analytics tools.
- Behavioral Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, business acumen, problem-solving ability, and stakeholder management.
