About the job:

Summary/Objective:

- This position is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with House of Spices Inc. India senior management and staff in supporting designated geographic regions.

- This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas of House of Spices Inc. India: recruitment/employment, onboarding, employee relations, training, performance management, benefits administration, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

Essential Functions:

- Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.

- Administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.

- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace

- Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.

- Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.

- Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory.

- Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.

- Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.

- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.

- Support Employee engagement activity.

Qualifications:

- Masters' degree in human resources or related field.

- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)/(SHRM-CP) credential

- 3 to 5 years of human resource experience.

- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (ADP) will be a plus

- Excellent communication and people skills

- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach

- Working with start-up environment
