Job Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Head (South) - B2B Retail Sales to oversee and drive sales operations across Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team (including people managers), developing strategic sales plans, and achieving sales targets within the designated region. This role requires a strong leader who can implement strategic initiatives, optimize sales performance, and enhance customer relationships to drive revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities:


Leadership & Team Management:


- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with business goals.


- Provide guidance, training, and motivation to sales teams to drive performance and achieve targets.


- Foster a results-driven culture by setting clear objectives and performance expectations.


- Ensure seamless coordination and collaboration within the team and cross functional departments.


Sales Strategy & Market Development:


- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and increase revenue.


- Identify new business opportunities and drive growth within the B2B retail sector.


- Ensure market penetration through effective channel partnerships and key account management.


Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence:


- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.


- Stay updated with industry developments and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.


- Utilize data-driven insights to improve decision-making and optimize sales efforts.


Client & Stakeholder Relationship Management:


- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.


- Develop and execute strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.


- Act as the key point of contact for high-value accounts and ensure their requirements are met.


Performance Monitoring & Revenue Management:


- Set and monitor sales performance metrics, including sales growth, revenue targets, and

profitability.


- Analyze sales data and trends to implement corrective actions as needed.


- Drive revenue optimization and ensure the team meets or exceeds quarterly and annual sales

targets.


Team Development & Talent Management:


- Recruit, train, and develop sales team members to ensure high levels of productivity and

engagement.


- Conduct regular performance reviews, mentorship programs, and training initiatives.


- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team.


Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:


- Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales

strategies with overall business objectives.


- Provide insights and feedback to enhance product offerings and market positioning.


- Collaborate with finance teams for budget planning and cost optimization. Budgeting &


Financial Oversight:


Budgeting & Financial Oversight:


- Develop and manage regional sales budgets, forecasts, and expenses.


- Ensure optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.


- Monitor financial performance and drive cost-effective strategies to improve profitability.


Key Requirements:


Education & Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.


Industry & Domain Expertise:


- Deep understanding of the B2B sales environment and retail distribution.


- Proven experience in handling large-scale sales operations across multiple regions.


- Strong knowledge of sales automation tools, CRM platforms, and data analytics.
