Roles and Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance Control & Implementation: Develop, establish, and implement comprehensive quality assurance norms, procedures, systems, and documentation across all stages of the production process. Ensure effective implementation and adherence to these standards by all relevant personnel.
- Wet Chemical Analysis: Conduct thorough wet chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications and nutritional standards.
- Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market analysis and research on competitor products and quality standards to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in our product quality.
- Quality Complaint Management: Track, thoroughly investigate, and effectively eliminate the root causes of quality complaints. Develop and implement robust solutions and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
- Resource Quality Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of all resources utilized by the company, including raw materials, packaging materials, and processing aids, to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
- Audit Corrective Actions: Take ownership of and implement effective corrective actions based on findings from internal and external quality audits to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
- New Product and Commodity Development: Actively participate in the development of new cattle feed products and the evaluation of new commodities, ensuring quality considerations are integrated from the initial stages.
Requirements:
- Qualified applicants must possess a B.Sc / M.Sc degree in Chemistry/PG.
- Minimum of 13 to 15 years of progressive experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food, feed, or agro-based industry.
- Proven experience in establishing and implementing quality assurance systems and procedures.
- Hands-on experience in conducting wet chemical analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and research competitor products.
- Proven track record of effectively tracking, resolving, and preventing quality complaints.
- Experience in inspecting the quality of raw materials and other resources.
- Ability to develop and implement corrective actions based on audit findings.
- Experience in new product and commodity development with a focus on quality.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 1
