Head/Vice President - Plant Operations - Chemical Manufacturing

Immediate hiring for a Head/VP - Plant Operations, at India's leading chemical manufacturing group based in Rajasthan.

Who is proficient in Production operations, Plant Engineering, Projects & automation of chemical manufacturing plants.

An Ideal candidate will have:

- Leadership & Team Management Skills: Oversee all technical departments, including Production, Quality Control, Maintenance & Engineering, and HSE, ensuring smooth inter-departmental collaboration.

- Conflict resolution Skills: Manage and resolve technical disputes between departments and foster a collaborative work environment.

- Training & Development Skills: Mentor and train junior technical staff, empowering them to grow into future leaders within the company.

- Recruitment & Team Building Skills: Lead recruitment efforts to strengthen the technical team as necessary, ensuring the right skills are in place to support plant operations

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manufacturing & Production Operations:

- Lead Production Planning and Execution: Oversee all production processes, from conceptualization to final delivery, ensuring timely execution of orders, resource allocation, and raw material management.

- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the production team, ensuring alignment with customer deadlines and production targets. Communicate potential delays to the marketing team well in advance.

- Plant Performance Reporting: Provide detailed reports to senior management on key performance metrics, such as raw material consumption, energy efficiency, process losses, and overall productivity.

- Cost Management: Continuously identify opportunities to reduce production costs without compromising on quality or efficiency.

- Labor Management: Oversee labor operations and ensure effective management of contract labor to optimize production.

Maintenance & Engineering:

- Preventive Maintenance: Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.

- Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Identify breakdowns or obstructions in the plant and take proactive steps to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
