Head Supply Chain
Job Description:
- Oversee and manage the company overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize process efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to understand customer demand and plan accordingly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and distributors.
- Ensure that all supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.
- Anticipate and manage any risks within the supply chain.
- Lead and inspire the supply chain team.
- Analyze data to improve supply chain operations.
- Responsible for logistics and procurement.
- Oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement to distribution, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Develop and implement strategies for effective inventory management and control across all points of sales.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and maintain high standards of product quality.
- Lead process improvement projects to streamline operations and reduce costs within the supply chain.
- Conduct regular data analysis to inform decision-making and enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Supervise logistics operations to ensure timely and economical product distribution.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with company goals.
- Anticipate market trends through demand forecasting and adjust supply chain strategies accordingly.
- Develop and implement a global supply chain strategy that supports the organization's growth and profitability objectives
- Collaborate with business presidents, finance VPs, and other senior leaders to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals
- Identify and implement process improvements, technology solutions, and best practices to optimize supply chain performance
- Lead the development and execution of supply chain transformation initiatives
The Successful Applicant:
- MBA degree in Supply Chain Management/Operations from Top Tier B-Schools
- 6-12 years of work experience in Supply Chain Management
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end supply chain processes in the quick commerce industry.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superior communication and negotiation skills.
- A go-getter and hustler attitude
