Job Description: SCM Head (Supply Chain Management Head)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SCM Head to lead our Supply Chain functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical or Electronics Engineering combined with expertise in Supply Chain Management, including procurement, logistics, vendor development, and strategic sourcing. The role involves overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless production planning, inventory optimization, and cost-effective procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals.

- Lead production planning and control to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery.

- Oversee procurement activities, including vendor development, strategic sourcing, and price negotiations to optimize costs.

- Manage inventory levels to balance stock availability with minimal holding costs.

- Coordinate logistics and customs clearance to ensure efficient movement of materials and finished goods.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

- Monitor and improve supply chain processes for efficiency and quality.

- Lead a team of supply chain professionals, fostering continuous improvement and development.

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including customs and import/export procedures.

- Analyze market trends and incorporate best practices into supply chain operations.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.

- Proven experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably from electrical or electronics manufacturing sectors.

- Strong understanding of production, planning, and control processes.

- Expertise in procurement, vendor development, and strategic sourcing.

- Excellent negotiation skills and cost management capabilities.

- Knowledge of logistics, customs procedures, and international trade compliance.

- Leadership qualities with excellent communication and team management skills.

- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.

Experience:

- B.E/BTech (Electrical or Electronics)

- Minimum 20+ years of experience in supply chain or related functions, with a significant portion in electrical/electronics industries
