As the Sales Head, you'll be responsible for building and scaling the sales function, owning revenue targets, and defining the go-to-market strategy across India and global markets. Your experience in selling to enterprise clients in sustainability, compliance, or B2B SaaS will be key to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire sales lifecycle - from prospecting and qualification to closure and upsell.
- Define and execute GTM strategy for different industry verticals (manufacturing, tech, FMCG, consulting).
- Hire, mentor, and lead a sales team, setting clear KPIs and growth goals.
- Build strong relationships with CXOs, ESG heads, sustainability consultants, and auditors.
- Represent the company in client meetings, webinars, industry forums, and ESG summits.
- Continuously analyze market trends and refine sales strategy and pricing accordingly.
- Coordinate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align on positioning and delivery.
Requirements:
- 8+ years in B2B sales, with minimum 3 years in ESG/carbon/LCA domain.
- Proven track record of closing high-value enterprise SaaS deals.
- Strong network across sustainability and ESG functions in mid to large enterprises.
- Deep understanding of carbon accounting (GHG Protocol), LCA, ESG disclosures (GRI, TCFD, BRSR, CDP).
- Experience working in or selling to manufacturing, chemicals, or energy-intensive industries is a plus.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset.
