Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Development Leader-BFSI to join our team in Malaysia. This is a leadership role where you will be responsible for driving business growth in the Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within Malaysia's BFSI ecosystem and a proven track record of independently leading business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead business development efforts in the BFSI sector across Malaysia.

- Identify and engage with reputable banks and financial institutions for strategic partnerships and business opportunities.

- Build and nurture strong relationships with CXOs and senior stakeholders in Malaysia's leading banks.

- Drive end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring alignment with business targets.

- Collaborate with internal delivery and pre-sales teams to craft client-specific solutions.

- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business challenges and proposing IT solutions.

- Represent the company at industry events, forums, and client meetings in the region.

Desired Profile:

- 14-20 years of professional experience in business development and account management within the IT services industry.

- Strong understanding of the BFSI market landscape in Malaysia.

- Proven experience in hunting and developing new client relationships, particularly in the banking sector.

- Well-connected with senior executives and decision-makers in top banks of Malaysia.

- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently in a highly dynamic environment.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field; MBA preferred.

- Prior experience in handling BFSI clients in Malaysia is a must.

- Understanding of IT services offerings such as digital transformation, application services, cloud, and managed services.
