Job Title: Sales & Marketing Head International.

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka and International travel as required.

Reports to: Managing Director.

Employment type: Full-Time.

Job Summary:


We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Head of International Sales to lead and scale our global spice trading operations. This leadership role will focus on expanding export markets, building strong buyer relationships, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and driving revenue growth across key geographies. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the global spice trade, international marketing and export logistics.


Key Responsibilities:


- Develop and execute international sales strategies to achieve growth in target markets (North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia-Pacific etc)

- Identify and build strong relationships with overseas buyers, importers, distributors, food manufacturers and private label partners

- Manage end-to-end export sales cycle from lead generation and negotiations to contract closure and order execution

- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, product demands, pricing strategies and emerging trends

- Ensure compliance with international quality standards, food safety regulations and export documentation (FSSAI, USDA Organic, EU Organic, HACCP etc)

- Collaborate with supply chain, finance and production team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction

- Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions and B2B meets

- Build and lead a high-performing international sales team as operations scale

- Track performance metrics, generate forecast and report to top management on international market dynamics and sales growth


Qualifications:


- Bachelors or masters in international business, Agriculture or related fields (MBA preferred)

- 8+ years of experience in international sales/export trade, preferably in spices


- Strong global buyer network and deep understanding of international spice trade practices

- Experience working with international certifications and export regulations

- Excellent negotiation, communication and cross-cultural management skills

- Ability to travel internationally as needed


Preferred Skills


- Familiarity with trade platforms (e.g Alibaba, IndiaMART, Trade India, Exporters India)

- Knowledge of Incoterms, Logistics and International payment terms

- Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
