About the job :
Position : Head - Sales & Distribution - Haryana, Punjab & Himachal
Location: Gurgaon
Qualification : MBA from Reputed Institute
Experience : 10 to 20yrs
Job Profile : Position is overall responsible for business expansion of potential beverages brands in the market.
Main job responsibilities are :
Sales Volume :
- Develop and finalize the Annual Operating Plan (Revenue/Sales, Budget, manpower, etc.) and develop upon the future Sales targets based on the market trends
- Implement, review and fine-tune the marketing strategies to escalate business volumes based on regional market needs
- Drive execution in the market as per the Annual Operating Plan
Market Share:
- Ensuring Continual Growth in Current Markets & creating expansion opportunities in new markets.
- Track competitor activity on a continuous basis and take action to counter competitor strategies in order to increase market share
Market Execution:
- Develop strong relationships with Key Accounts, resolving channel partners issues, Visit & interact with DBR's on frequent basis to maintain relationship
- Responsible for implementing the Go-To-Market model within the Unit, Utilize tools to drive Business results-SAMNA, WW, etc.
Cost Control:
- Ensure credit control within Unit, Liaison with Commercial Responsible for monitoring & optimizing cost of direct operations, Maintain profitability of the Unit.
Sales Forecasting:
- Use field data for market to identify brand/pack gaps and partner with other stakeholders to develop area plans to drive shares
Team Management:
- Set clear volume targets and KPIs for his/her team and territories
- Managing the Sales and distribution channel and guiding the sales force on the same People Development
- Assess Unit level staffing & skills requirement & develop plan to address in short & long terms needs based on outlet size
- Conducting regular feedback sessions with team members and providing necessary inputs
- Carry out coaching, mentoring and hand holding for the team members and develop upon their required skill set
New Initiatives:
- Special projects and new initiatives in order to ensure continuous business growth
Candidate Profile:
- Full-time MBA from a reputed management Institutes
- Minimum 10-20 years of post-qualification Sales and Distribution Management experience
- A minimum of 8-10 years of recent sales experience in FMCG company of repute, with a vast distribution network, is a must.
- Experience in Leadership and People Management Roles
