
Job Title: Manager - Sales and Development
Reports to: Director/VP of Sales
We are seeking an experienced Sales and Development Manager to lead our sales team in the fire-fighting equipment industry.
The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers.
Role And Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Sales team management: Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
- Sales strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
Business Development:
- New business opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new customers and markets.
- Market research: Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity.
Customer Relationships:
- Customer relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions.
- Customer satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, driving repeat business and referrals.
Requirements:
- Experience in sales leadership: Experience in sales leadership, preferably in the firefighting equipment industry or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a sales team.
- Results-driven: Results-driven, with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business: Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience with CRM software: Experience with CRM software, such as Salesforce, would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of fire-fighting equipment: Knowledge of fire-fighting equipment and industry standards would be an advantage.
