Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Retail to lead and execute INATI's offline retail strategy. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will be responsible for defining our retail footprint, launching new stores, driving operational excellence, and ultimately owning the profitability of our retail channels. You'll build and inspire a high-performing team, ensuring every store delivers an exceptional brand experience that resonates with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Strategy & Rollout
- Design and execute INATI's comprehensive offline retail strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and finalize optimal locations for our first physical stores, considering market potential and brand presence.
- Develop robust retail Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), innovative customer experience models, and efficient in-store operations frameworks.
Store Launch & Operations
- Lead the entire end-to-end store setup process, from initial design and visual merchandising to hiring and comprehensive staff training.
- Ensure all retail stores consistently operate to the highest brand, service, and operational standards.
- Manage key vendor relationships, oversee compelling visual merchandising displays, and ensure seamless supply chain alignment for optimal stock levels.
Team Building & Leadership
- Build, recruit, and effectively manage the entire offline retail team, including store managers, sales staff, and operational personnel.
- Train, motivate, and empower staff to consistently deliver excellent customer experiences and drive strong sales productivity.
P&L Ownership
- Take full ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) for all offline retail stores.
- Strategically drive key retail metrics such as footfall, conversion rates, Average Transaction Value (ATV), and overall profitability across all locations.
Brand Experience & Growth
- Work closely and collaboratively with marketing and merchandising teams to deliver integrated and consistent brand experiences in the offline space.
- Provide constant, actionable feedback to the founders based on valuable consumer insights gathered from stores and detailed performance analysis.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience in retail management, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in designing and executing retail strategies and driving new store rollouts.
- Strong experience in end-to-end store operations, including setup, merchandising, and daily management.
- Proven ability to build, lead, and mentor high-performing retail teams.
- P&L ownership experience with a clear understanding of key retail metrics (footfall, conversion, ATV, profitability).
- Excellent understanding of retail best practices for customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, and other departments.
