Head - Real Estate Investments & Development - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned real estate investment professional to lead the identification, evaluation, acquisition, and development of high-value real estate assets for a leading investment firm. The role will oversee the entire investment lifecyclefrom market research and deal sourcing to development oversight, asset management, and monetisationacross multiple asset classes including commercial, residential, hospitality, and mixed-use developments in India and select global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Strategy & Deal Origination

- Source, evaluate, and structure investment opportunities, including joint ventures, private equity transactions, and strategic acquisitions.

- Conduct feasibility studies, market analysis, and financial modelling to assess risk-return profiles.

Transaction Management

- Manage due diligence processes, ensuring legal, technical, and financial compliance.

- Collaborate with legal and financial advisors to close high-value transactions.

Development Oversight

- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project managers to drive delivery excellence.

- Ensure integration of ESG principles and sustainability best practices in all developments.

Portfolio & Asset Management

- Oversee leasing, tenant management, and income optimisation across the portfolio.

- Drive value creation through redevelopment, repositioning, and operational efficiencies.

Stakeholder & Investor Relations

- Present investment proposals, project updates, and performance reports to internal committees and investors.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 18+ years of experience in real estate investment and development, preferably with an investment firm, private equity platform, or institutional fund.

- Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-asset projects and closing complex transactions.

- Strong network across developers, investors, and government agencies.
