Key Responsibilities:

- Define and execute procurement strategy for transmission and gear components.

- Identify and develop reliable suppliers for gears, shafts, bearings, castings, forgings, and precision-machined parts.

- Lead price negotiations and long-term supply agreements.

- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure technical compliance and alignment.

- Drive vendor development, cost optimization, and localization initiatives.

- Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and delivery performance.

- Ensure procurement processes align with industry standards and company policies.

Key Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; MBA/Supply Chain certification preferred.

- 6+ years of relevant experience in procurement within the transmission, gear, or heavy engineering sector.

- Strong knowledge of technical specifications for gears, gearboxes, and mechanical drive systems.

- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.

- Proficient in ERP systems and procurement software.
