Hiring for a Solar Company

Base: Patna

Education: Engineering - Any specialization

Must be willing to be based in Patna and travel to Africa quarterly.

Experience: 12+ yrs

This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving organisation solar project execution, ensuring 600+ projects per year are delivered on time, within budget, and at the right quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery & Strategy:

- Build and lead a project organization capable of managing hundreds of installations yearly.

- Oversee planning, budgeting, resource allocation (men, material, machines).

- Ensure projects meet deadlines, cost targets, and quality standards.

Process & Systems:

- Create digital tools and scalable systems for project monitoring and reporting.

- Standardize processes for project execution, storage, safety, and compliance.

Stakeholder & Regulatory Management:

- Work with DISCOMs (electricity distribution companies) for approvals.

- Develop EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) partnerships to handle 30-50 site builds per month.

Financial Control:

- Track costs, productivity, invoicing, and cash flow.

- Ensure project profitability.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Finance, Logistics, and Inventory teams.

- Resolve conflicts, manage ROW (Right of Way) issues, and push product/process improvements.

Team Building & Training:

- Train and mentor technical manpower.

- Build high-performance, safety-conscious, and quality-driven teams.
