Head - Operations

Responsibilities:

- Vessel / Ship Operations - Coordination with Terminal & Vessels for smooth berthing, discharge & sail-off

- Overseeing & managing the statutory requirements on the ship side

- Container Operations - Ensuring all landside requirements are managed - viz. issuing of necessary forms, Gate-in etc.

- Liaising & coordinating with Container Depots, Container Freight Stations (CFS), Inland Container Depots (ICDs) for monitoring & report of movement of containers

- Vessel agency & Cargo handling related work ( Pre-arrival to Departure)

- Regular Interaction for above with Principals/Vessel Master/Owner

- Monitoring and achieving excellence on vessel turn around

- TDR to In house teams(Sales/Finance/EQC)/Principals/Partners

- Vessel analysis on operations/TT/costs/Billing

- Information to Principals/In house on updates w.r.t. Authorities related to work at site

- Monitoring, coordinating and reporting on container movements from discharging to loading

- Vessel Husbanding

- Coordinating with Principal Maintenance & Repair (M&R) department for damage containers at Depot and carrying out repairs in liaison with Depot.

- Ensure timely submission of reports as per the deadline

- Ability to work with little or no supervision at all

- Excellent Communication skills

- Possess administration skills

- Must- Master Mariner certification and education in nautical science
