About the Role:

A high-growth D2C nutrition company, is seeking a Head of Operations & Supply Chain to oversee end-to-end operations, from procurement and production to logistics and last-mile delivery. This strategic leadership role will ensure operational excellence, supply chain efficiency, and scalability to support the brands rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Strategy & Execution:

- Define and implement operational strategies to support business objectives and growth plans.

- Drive process excellence across procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics.

Supply Chain Management:

- Manage the complete supply chain lifecycle, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement, production planning, and distribution.

- Establish strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners for seamless operations.

Inventory & Demand Alignment:

- Work closely with the forecasting team to ensure inventory levels are optimized for high service levels and minimal excess.

- Ensure adherence to lead times, safety stock policies, and fulfillment KPIs.

Logistics & Distribution:

- Oversee warehousing operations, last-mile delivery performance, and reverse logistics.

- Implement tech-driven solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Compliance, Quality & Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and safety norms.

- Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement:

- Build and lead a high-performing operations team.

- Drive process automation, system implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Experience: 8 to 20 years in operations and supply chain management, preferably in FMCG, D2C, or nutrition/health sectors.

Education: MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.

Skills:

- Strong expertise in operations management, supply chain optimization, and vendor management.

- Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain analytics.

- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
