Key responsibilities:
Revenue Growth Strategy:
- Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at driving overall topline revenue growth. Develop and implement revenue growth strategies to maximize sales and market share.
- Analyse market trends and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Marketing Budgeting and ROI Optimization:
- Oversee marketing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure efficient allocation of resources across campaigns and initiatives.
- Approve marketing budgets and ensure adherence to financial limits while maximizing ROI on marketing spend across all channels.
- Lead marketing strategies by optimizing campaign efficiency, controlling costs, and driving sustainable revenue growth.
Sales Performance Management:
- Oversee sales operations, ensuring targets are met and performance is optimized across teams.
- Implement metrics and KPIs to track sales performance and drive accountability.
Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Provide direction to the Head of Branding & Marketing to create effective marketing strategies that support revenue goals.
- Ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and sales objectives to enhance customer acquisition and retention.
New Market entry:
- Develop and execute strategies for new market entry, including market research, competitive analysis, go-to-market plans, and localization of marketing campaigns to ensure successful brand penetration and growth.
Brand custodian:
- Serve as the brand custodian, ensuring consistent brand messaging, visual identity, and tone across all marketing channels to strengthen brand equity and maintain a strong market presence.
Strategic direction:
- Collaborate as a key member of the leadership team to shape the organization's strategic direction, drive business growth, and align marketing initiatives with overarching corporate goals.
Market Intelligence:
- Lead efforts in gathering and analysing market intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Customer Engagement:
- Enhance customer experience and engagement strategies to drive customer loyalty and retention.
- Oversee customer service initiatives to ensure high levels of satisfaction and address customer needs effectively.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the sales & marketing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration to drive performance and achieve organizational goals.
