Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic marketing leader to drive product strategy, brand building, demand creation, and cross-functional excellence for a category-leading, innovation-driven business in the consumer durables space.
You will play a pivotal role in defining product roadmaps, sharpening brand identity, enabling GTM success, and influencing both internal stakeholders and external influencers.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Product Management & Price Strategy
- Drive product roadmap aligned with consumer insights, market trends & business strategy.
- Lead differentiated product-channel strategy to gain market share across segments.
- Constantly evaluate pricing landscape to support premium brand positioning and revenue growth.
- Track trends, tech advancements, and competitive movements to guide launch & portfolio decisions.
2- Brand Management
- Own the brand narrative-build equity across all touchpoints: ATL, BTL, digital, PR, and in-store.
- Create and uphold strong brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across regions and formats.
- Strategize and manage marketing budgets with focus on ROI and business objectives.
3- Demand Creation & GTM Execution
- Develop and scale Influencer Engagement programs across key decision-makers-Architects, Consultants, Builders.
- Co-create trade-specific campaigns with Sales-retail, modern trade, and e-commerce.
- Strengthen downstream influence through targeted programs for shop-floor staff, technicians, and channel partners.
4- Consumer & Market Insights
- Commission and decode market research-U&A, ethnography, digital listening-to drive innovation.
- Analyze market gaps, pricing trends, tech innovation, and competitor strategies.
- Partner with Product/R&D to recommend investments and innovations aligned with white spaces.
5- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Align closely with Sales on forecasting, pricing, channel targets, and promotions.
- Coordinate with Service/After-Sales for customer lifecycle, AMCs, spares marketing.
- Work with Finance for budgeting cycles, pricing clearance, and ROI evaluation.
- Partner with Supply Chain for availability planning, stock forecasting & SKU optimization.
- Support HR in building, mentoring & engaging a high-performing marketing team.
6- Technology & Sustainability Leadership
- Keep pulse on global tech & regulatory developments to future-proof the business.
- Lead Sustainability & CSR narratives-energy conservation, safety awareness, and e-waste initiatives.
