Role Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial professional to lead our Investor Relations and Business Development vertical. The candidate will be responsible for managing key client relationships, developing new business opportunities, advising clients on investor engagement strategy, and building strategic alliances across the capital markets ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Investor Relations:
- Lead strategic IR advisory for key clients, including listed and pre-IPO companies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, PMS funds, analysts, and other capital market participants.
- Support clients in preparing investor presentations, earnings scripts, Q&A documents, press releases, and regulatory filings.
- Organize and manage investor conferences, earnings calls, roadshows, and one-on-one meetings.
- Monitor investor feedback, shareholding trends, and market intelligence to advise clients on proactive IR strategies.
Business Development:
- Identify and acquire new clients across sectors for IR and related services (such as IPO IR advisory, corporate communications, ESG, etc.).
- Design customized solutions for clients, including capital market positioning, communication strategies, and investor outreach plans.
- Drive revenue growth through cross-selling and up-selling of services.
- Forge strategic partnerships with investment banks, law firms, PR agencies, and other intermediaries to expand the firm's network and offerings.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience (10+ years) in Investor Relations, Equity Research, Investment Banking, or Capital Markets.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methods, and investor expectations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing high-quality IR materials.
- Deep network of institutional and HNI investors, analysts, and capital market intermediaries.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong track record in business development and client management.
- Ability to manage a team and work across functions (content, design, operations).
- Prior experience in an IR advisory firm, brokerage, investment bank, or listed company's IR team is highly desirable.
