- A leading FMCG company having operations in multiple geographies across the globe wishes to hire the head of the International Business.
- It is rapidly expanding it's presence across multiple geographies.
- The current role would be based in the India region and develop the company's operations in S.E. Asia, Middle East and Africa.
- The incumbent will set up distribution operations and contract manufacturing in these geographies.
Specific responsibilities include -
- Identifying target markets, developing and executing strategic plans, building client relationships, and representing the company at international events.
- Lead the sales planning, development, deployment and achievement of planned targets.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies for accelerating growth
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the distribution landscape in the specific countries and develop geography, and channel specific strategies towards achieving the growth objectives.
- Work closely with the business head to identify and develop new product or positioning opportunities
- Work closely with the business head, supply chain and the distributor teams to create processes between the Company and the distributors that are simple, robust and efficient facilitating unrestricted flow of necessary information on ordering, shipments and sales.
- Motivate, direct and coach distributor sales team to ensure adequate coverage, improved distribution depth and good visibility.
- Work with marketing and business head for conceptualising, planning and implementing brand Promotion
Candidate Profile :
- MBA with 15 - 20 years of experience in FMCG Sales & distribution.
- The incumbent should have prior experience in handling exports or business development overseas in Africa , South East Asia .
- Experience in handling contract manufacturers would be ideal.
- IIFT graduates would be preferred.
- The aspirant should have had relevant sales stints (GT) and adept at expanding the distribution network. Sales and distribution planning, GTM
- A short brand /category management stint shall be useful.
