A well-established and rapidly growing brand in the retail and consumer products space, known for its strong market presence and commitment to quality. The company operates across multiple locations in India and caters to a wide customer base through its retail footprint and omnichannel presence. The organization is in a transformation phase and is looking to strengthen its HR leadership to align people strategy with business growth.
Job Responsibility:
- Provide strategic direction for the entire HR function, ensuring alignment with business goals and organizational growth
- Lead the design and implementation of robust performance management systems (PMS) tailored to the retail workforce
- Drive succession planning initiatives, identifying and developing high-potential talent across functions
- Design and institutionalize role-specific KRAs and KPIs to support a high-performance culture
- Create and execute employee engagement strategies, including rewards and recognition, culture-building activities, and regular feedback mechanisms
- Build and oversee talent acquisition strategy, with a focus on quality hiring, leadership recruitment, and manpower planning
- Partner closely with leadership and business heads to understand people needs and offer proactive HR solutions
- Leverage HR data, performance reviews, and business inputs to make informed decisions on workforce planning and talent strategy
- Lead change management and HR transformation projects, enhancing people practices and processes across the organization
- Enhance employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, confirmation, performance reviews, promotions, exits) with structured policies
- Strengthen organizational culture by integrating values, recognition frameworks, and communication platforms like townhalls
- Build internal capabilities through learning initiatives, upskilling, and team development plans
- Act as a mentor to the HR team and foster a collaborative, future-ready people function
Qualification and Experience:
- Must have fluency in English (written and verbal)
- 8+ years of core HR experience, with a proven track record in strategic HR, PMS, and TA
- Hands-on experience in retail, FMCG, or consumer businesses is highly preferred
- Strong exposure to employee engagement, performance frameworks, and people analytics
- Excellent presentation, analytical, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Masters degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field preferred
- Candidates from BPO, IT services, or factory-only HR backgrounds will not be considered
Working Days and Timings:
- Monday to Saturday
- 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- 2nd and 4th Saturday off
