The Opportunity
We're looking for a Head of Human Resources with extensive knowledge of scaling teams and culture, along with deep expertise running a people function. This person will oversee several areas of human resources, including talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, and workplace experience. S/he will lead our Human Resources team with a combination of strategic vision and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the leadership team to build a high-performing, value-driven organization while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and employee well-being.
Specific Duties:
- Employer Brand & Culture: Enhance our organizational culture and develop an employer brand that authentically reflects our core values.
- Strategic People Advisory: Provide insightful guidance to leadership on organizational design, workforce strategy, and innovative people practices.
- Leadership Bridge: Serve as a trusted intermediary between management and employees, fostering open communication and a culture of trust.
- Workforce Planning: Proactively assess and anticipate workforce needs across divisions to ensure optimal staffing and resource allocation.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Streamline recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure clarity in roles and a seamless transition for new hires.
- Performance Management: Design and implement effective KPIs, review frameworks, and appraisal systems that drive performance and accountability.
- Career Growth & Succession: Create and promote clear pathways for career development and succession planning, empowering our employees to grow within the organization.
- Learning & Development: Lead training initiatives and mentorship programs that encourage continuous learning and skill enhancement.
- Engagement & Rewards: Develop and launch comprehensive engagement programs alongside robust reward and recognition systems to celebrate employee contributions.
- Compensation & Retention: Structure competitive salaries and incentives, alongside effective retention strategies, to benchmark against industry standards.
- Compliance & Policies: Ensure adherence to labor laws, factory regulations, HR SOPs, and policy frameworks, fostering a safe and compliant work environment.
- HR Technology: Implement and leverage HRMS tools to provide data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making.
- Standardization: Develop and uphold consistent policies regarding attendance, leave, and discipline to foster fairness and transparency.
Key Requirements:
- 12 - 15 years of HR leadership experience, demonstrating proficiency in both strategic and operational aspects.
- Preferred background in manufacturing, design, or allied industries.
- Extensive knowledge of labor laws, factory compliance, and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to align HR strategies with overarching business goals.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills that foster collaboration.
