Job Title: Head HR Compliance & Legal

About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead HR Compliance & Legal functions. The ideal candidate will ensure full compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and corporate governance standards while providing strategic legal support for all people-related matters. This role plays a crucial part in safeguarding organisational integrity, fostering a culture of transparency, and driving compliance excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
- Review, draft, and update company policies, HR manuals, contracts, and agreements.
- Provide legal counsel on employment contracts, disciplinary actions, employee relations, and terminations.
- Oversee labour disputes, arbitration, and litigation, liaising with external counsel when needed.
- Conduct audits and develop compliance training programs for HR and employees.
- Drive compliance with the POSH Act and promote an inclusive, respectful workplace.
- Advise leadership and the board on compliance risks and performance.
- Create and maintain a strong compliance culture across multiple locations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: LLB / LLM (additional HR certification or MBA in HR preferred).
