Head - Finance - Consumer Tech

About the Role:

Our client, a high-growth company in the start-up ecosystem, is seeking a Head of Finance to lead the finance function and serve as a strategic business partner to the leadership team. The role requires strong expertise in FP&A and Business Finance, along with the ability to shape financial strategy, enable growth, and strengthen governance.

This is a senior leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the FP&A function - budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, and variance analysis.

- Drive business finance agenda including profitability analysis, cost optimization, pricing strategy, and ROI evaluation.

- Partner with leadership to provide actionable insights and enable data-driven decision-making.

- Establish scalable finance processes, systems, and governance frameworks.

- Support fundraising, investor relations, and board-level reporting.

- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.

Key Requirements:

- 10-18 years of experience in Finance, with strong exposure to FP&A and Business Finance.

- Proven experience in the start-up ecosystem or high-growth environment.

- Strategic orientation with hands-on execution ability.

- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

- CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent preferred.
