- As the Head of Finance, you will play a key leadership role in this new setup; driving financial excellence, building core processes, and enabling scale.
- You will report directly to the Group CEO and lead a growing team, starting with 4 direct reports, with potential to expand to 8 as operations grow.

Key Responsibilities:
Finance Strategy & Leadership:
- Advise the leadership team on financial strategy, investment decisions and growth planning.
- Analyze financial data to deliver actionable insights that support business improvement.
- Lead financial planning, long-range forecasting, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Compare actual performance against budget and projections, and recommend adjustments to improve financial outcomes.
- Work closely with the CEO and senior stakeholders to align financial strategy with overall business goals and priorities.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, business expansion, and entry into new service areas.
- Study long-term economic and industry trends to inform planning and decision-making.
- Continuously review and improve planning processes, reporting methods, and forecasting models.
- Oversee audit, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements across all regions.
- Build and implement strong internal processes, including the rollout and optimization of financial tools like Zoho.
- Develop and maintain robust cash flow management systems to support operations and strategic investments.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions and investment partners; oversee capital-raising efforts as required.
Financial Operations & Controls:
- Lead end-to-end accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) and reconciliations.
- Manage daily, monthly and annual financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes with accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Develop, implement and enforce financial systems, internal controls and compliance policies in line with company standards.
- Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely payments and reconciliation of accounts.
- Ensure proper documentation, expense reporting and control processes for regulatory compliance.
- Continuously improve process efficiency.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Lead preparation and presentation of P&L statements, management reports and board-level financial summaries.
- Deliver weekly and monthly financial reports, including budget vs actuals, cost center analysis and margin reports.
- Build and manage cash flow forecasts and working capital models across business units and regions.
- Prepare budget forecasts and gross profit projections for each operating market.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and other financial health metrics.
- Analyze operations and financial data to identify risk areas and propose corrective strategies.
- Develop financial models and forecasting tools tailored to support operations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and requirements, and all audit deliverables.
Project Finance & Commercial Support:
- Support pricing strategies, bid submissions and commercial contract structuring.
- Work closely with project managers to develop budgets, cost structures, and revenue forecasts.
- Monitor project-level accounting, ensure timely invoicing and assist in receivables collections.
- Provide financial input on staffing plans, fee structures and project profitability analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver clear, timely financial reports and forecasts.
- Assist stakeholders and CEO in project planning and financial modeling.
- Manage escalations and client queries related to invoicing, tax, compliance and financial terms.
- Ensure commercial terms are aligned with financial objectives and risk exposure is managed.
What You Bring?
- CA/CPA qualified with 10-15 years of experience, including 5+ years in a senior finance leadership role.
- Proven success leading finance functions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience managing operations with a turnover of at least USD 30-50 million (INR 250-400+ crores).
- Prior experience working in or supporting businesses in the UAE and/or KSA markets is highly preferred.
- Advanced skills in Excel, financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across global teams and departments.
- Must be currently based in Bengaluru.
- Availability to start immediately or at short notice is a strong advantage.
