Role -Head - E commerce
Client is leading FMCG company in the beverages segment with a strong national presence and a rapidly growing e-commerce footprint. L
Looking for a seasoned e-commerce leader who can build strong relationships, grow online revenues, and manage the channel end-to-end.
Role Summary: The E-Commerce Head will have complete ownership of the companys e-commerce business across quick commerce, marketplaces, and D2C channels. The role demands strong sector experience (FMCG, Beverage, Dairy, or Pharma), a deep understanding of e commerce operations, and hands-on experience in face-to-face dealings with national and regional e-commerce buyers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive growth through strategic partnerships, category expansion, and exclusive launches.
- Lead annual joint business planning with major quick commerce and e-marketplace partners.
- Maintain strong personal relationships and conduct regular face-to-face meetings with national and regional e-commerce buyers.
- Leverage existing contacts with decision-makers in platforms like Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, and others.
- Collaborate with supply chain, warehouse, and finance teams for operational efficiency.
- Oversee product listing hygiene, search optimization, and pricing strategy.
- Own P&L responsibility for the e-commerce division.
- Track sales performance, ROI on campaigns, and competitor benchmarking.
- Use analytics to make data-driven decisions for assortment, pricing, and promotions.
- Lead a team of e-commerce KAMs, analysts, and marketing executives.
- Provide guidance, training, and clear KPIs to achieve revenue and operational goals.
Candidate Profile:
- Mandatory sector background: FMCG, Beverage, Dairy, or Pharma.
- Strong network and proven relationships with national and regional e-commerce buyers.
- Experience in face-to-face negotiations and business development in the e-commerce ecosystem.
- In-depth understanding of backend processes billing, ERP systems, claims, supply chain integration.
- Proven track record of growing online business profitably.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
