Head of CSR and Fundraising - Arts & Culture
You will be responsible for raising resources from corporate partnerships, events and individual donors and reporting to the Board of Trustees. Responsible for developing, managing, and promoting initiatives that align a company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals with arts and culture, such as funding local artists, preserving heritage, and organizing cultural events to build community and enhance the organization's reputation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Corporate Engagements and Events:
- Build a corporate engagement strategy for stronger relationships with the corporate world.
- Build networks with corporate contacts.
- Raise sponsorships, grants and other support from the corporate sector.
- Design and implement art events and specific arts services to raise funds.
- Create and sustain networks, collaborations and partnerships.
- Be responsible for annual fundraising and revenue targets from the corporate sector and through events.
- Project management of special projects and partnerships.
Individual Donors:
- Build sustainable relationships with current individual donors along with Manager for Individual Donors.
- Design and implement specific programmes and initiatives to keep the donor circle engaged and informed.
Other Responsibilities:
- Support all Co's activities across departments
- Contribute through ideas and participate in events, showcase etc.
Qualification And Experience:
1. Proven leadership with Minimum 8+ years of experience in Heading CSR & fundraising for the non-profit sector. People from arts and culture organisations will be preferred.
2. An in-depth understanding of the functioning of the corporate sector.
3. Excellent networking skills.
4. Skilled in finance, particularly budgeting and project management.
5. Ability to work in a team and across different departments.
6. Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills.
7. Experience in the performing arts and with events is an added bonus.
8. Self-driven, patient and persistent.
9. Belief in the value of the arts and conviction to be able to advocate for support for the arts.
10. Knowledge of governance and compliance requirements for charities.
11. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire trust, engage diverse stakeholders, and advocate for the charity's mission.
12. Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation.
13. Experience in raising the profile of an organisation through marketing and communications.
14. A values-driven entrepreneurial leader with a passion for the charity's mission.
15. Resilient, adaptable, and able to navigate challenges with positivity and determination.
16. A collaborative and compassionate approach to leadership, putting people and purpose at the heart of decision-making.
17. Visionary and proactive, with the ability to inspire others to work towards shared goals.
