Head - Credit Risk & Policy - FinTech

About:

- Fast-growing fintech company transforming access to credit for rural entrepreneurs and small businesses. Our mission is to empower underserved markets through innovative, tech-enabled lending solutions that are simple, quick, and inclusive.

- Develop and continuously refine credit risk policies, underwriting guidelines, and approval processes for unsecured rural business loans

- Leverage alternative data sources, behavioural scoring, and cash flow analysis to assess creditworthiness

- Implement robust portfolio monitoring systems to track performance, detect stress early, and take corrective action

- Train and mentor credit officers in rural lending risk assessment techniques

- Education: MBA / CA / Master's degree in Finance

- Experience: 10-15 years of experience in credit risk, underwriting, and portfolio management in NBFCs, banks, or fintechs; at least 5 years in a leadership role.

- Domain Expertise: Strong background in unsecured lending(small-mid ticket size); prior experience with rural/priority sector lending preferred.
