Head Corporate Social Responsibility & Fund Raising (Rep. to Board)

Lead the company's CSR strategy, ensuring social and environmental initiatives align with business goals, compliance requirements, and brand values. Leads the organization's social impact agenda by designing and implementing CSR programs while ensuring adequate funding through strategic fundraising. Align projects with corporate values, legal requirements, and community needs, and drive financial sustainability through partnerships and donor engagement.

Key Responsibilities.:

- Develop and execute the CSR and fundraising strategy in line with company objectives and goals.

- Identify, design, and implement high-impact social projects in collaboration with NGOs, government bodies, and community stakeholders.

- Identify entrepreneurial opportunities for growth, innovation, and partnerships to increase the charity's impact.

- Oversee the financial health of the organisation, ensuring effective budgeting, forecasting and resource management.

- Develop and implement a sustainable fund raising strategy, identifying and securing diverse income streams (e.g., grants, donations, corporate partnerships)

- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities. Write, review and submit funding and contract applications to trusts and foundations.

- Ensure compliance with CSR laws and prepare reports for statutory and public disclosure.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, high-net-worth individuals, institutional donors, and foundations.

- Create compelling proposals, pitches, and campaigns to secure funding.

- Lead employee engagement initiatives and promote a volunteering culture.

- Monitor, evaluate, and report on both project impact and fundraising performance.

- Act as the primary spokesperson for the charity, building its reputation and profile within the community.

- Represent the charity at events, meetings, and conferences to promote its mission and increase awareness. Governance and Compliance

- Ensure the charity operates in accordance with its constitution, policies, and legal requirements. Provide the Board of Trustees with timely and accurate information to support effective governance and decision-making.

- Maintain high standards of accountability, safeguarding, and risk management across all aspects of the organisation.

Qualification And Experience:

1. Proven leadership with Minimum 8+ years of experience, ideally in the charity, public, or voluntary sector, with a commitment to values-driven leadership.

2. Visionary leader with the ability to inspire and motivate others

3. Experience in developing and delivering strategic plans aligned with organisational values and goals.

4. Strong track record in income generation, including fundraising, partnerships, and securing grants.

5. Knowledge of governance and compliance requirements for charities.

6. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire trust, engage diverse stakeholders, and advocate for the charity's mission.

7. Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation.

8. Experience in raising the profile of an organisation through marketing and communications.

9. A values-driven entrepreneurial leader with a passion for the charity's mission.

10. Resilient, adaptable, and able to navigate challenges with positivity and determination.

11. A collaborative and compassionate approach to leadership, putting people and purpose at the heart of decision-making.

12. Visionary and proactive, with the ability to inspire others to work towards shared goals.

13. High levels of integrity, empathy, and commitment to inclusivity and equality.
