
Job Purpose
- Lead the creation and implementation of innovative products and services that strengthen the organizations cargo offerings, aligned with strategic goals to enhance market competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Drive the end-to-end product development process, from concept to market launch, ensuring all products meet quality standards, operational requirements, and customer needs.
Key Accountabilities
Product Development Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for new product and service development.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for innovation within the cargo sector.
Vendor Management
- Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms and maintain strict quality standards.
Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with Commercial, In-flight Services, and Customer Experience teams to ensure products are seamlessly integrated across all customer touchpoints.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the product development team to foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Head Cargo Commercial: Regular reporting and alignment on product strategy and goals.
- Customer Experience: Integrate customer feedback into product development to enhance satisfaction.
- Commercial & In-flight Services: Ensure alignment between product strategy and broader commercial plans.
- Marketing: Collaborate on go-to-market strategies, promotional materials, and launch campaigns.
External
- Vendors/Suppliers: Manage sourcing and development relationships.
- Industry Associations: Stay updated on market trends, innovations, and best practices.
Educational & Experience Requirements
Minimum Education
- Bachelors degree in Operations, Business Management, or related field.
- Masters degree preferred.
Experience
- Minimum: 5-7 years experience in the aviation industry with focus on product development.
- Preferred: 10+ years in aviation, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles within product development, ideally in cargo or commercial sectors.
