
Job Purpose:
- To lead the creation and implementation of innovative products and services that enhance Airlnes Cargo's offerings, aligning with the airline's strategic goals to boost market competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
- To drive the end-to-end product development process, from concept through to market launch, ensuring products meet quality standards and operational requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
Product Development Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for new product and service development, including market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for innovation within the cargo sector.
Vendor Management:
- Oversee vendor relationships to ensure high-quality, cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms and maintain high standards of product quality.
Cross-functional Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Commercial, In-flight Services, and Customer Experience, to ensure product offerings are integrated and optimized across all customer touchpoints.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team dedicated to product development, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.

Internal Interfaces:
- Head Commercial Cargo.
- Regular reporting and strategic alignment on new product initiatives and development goals.
- Collaborative planning and execution oversight to ensure product strategies integrate smoothly with cargo operations.
Customer Experience:
- Gather and incorporate customer feedback into new product development to enhance customer satisfaction and address pain points.
- Coordinate the rollout of new services to ensure customer needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
Commercial & In-flight Services:
- Collaborate on aligning new product development with existing commercial strategies and in-flight service enhancements.
- Integrate new offerings into the cargo service portfolio, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
- Marketing - Collaborate on marketing strategies for new products, ensuring effective market penetration and brand alignment.
- Develop promotional materials and campaigns to launch new products and services.
External Interfaces:
Third-party Vendors/Suppliers:
Manage relationships and negotiate terms for product sourcing and development.
Industry Associations.
- Engage with industry groups to stay updated on trends and innovations that could influence product development.
Educational and Experience Requirements.
- A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Desired 5-7 years' experience in the aviation industry with a focus on product development.
- Experience - 12+ years' experience in the aviation industry with at least 5+ years of extensive experience in leading product, preferably within the cargo or commercial sectors
