JOB TITLE: Retail Business Development Head

ROLE PURPOSE:


Manage and build a strong network to promote company solutions in the Company's Retail, F&B and Etail solutions across India

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Business Development:

- Develop and manage Retail and F&B business portfolio for India.

- Initiate and manage customer events to promote Retail and F&B solutions

- Manage and develop commercial relationships with focused / major customers to maximize the long-term revenue contribution from each account

- Produce and maintain an account development plan for each account and new business opportunity.

- Provide accurate revenue forecasts for individual accounts

- Provide support to generate additional revenue and profit in line with individual and team targets through new sales

Revenue Generation:

- Establish country wide sales network to promote Retail, F&B and Etail solutions


- Achieve the assigned revenue targets

Relationship Management:

- Responsible for building and managing a portfolio of key clients.


- Developing new business opportunities and relationships with new customers.


- Develop and manage complex sales proposals.


- Working with colleagues to ensure that all sales proposals shared with customers are accurate on account of risk, cost and time.

Business Effectiveness and Efficiency:

- Contribute to the continual development of the business and marketing plan, focusing on maximum market penetration and profitability.

- Ensure that every account's profitability is maximized.

- Actively contribute to the development of the team. Take opportunities to share, influence and learn from each other.

- Proactively capture business opportunities with a view to providing high value solutions.

- Promote a portfolio of products, services and solutions

- Inform customers of new product/service introductions and devise product launch strategies

- Create, monitor and devise lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level:

- Degree educated from a reputed institution

- MBA

Qualifications: 20+ years of relevant industry experience with 10+ years in organized Retail in India

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Executive level relationship in Retail

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- High level of analytical ability and conceptualization skills

Internal Notes:

- Ask: What is your target & how many customers have you onboarded?

- 70-80% retail and kiosk business (catered to clients like Reliance, zara, decathalon, Dmart)

- Candidate should have India retail experience only.

- First preference- candidates from Mumbai, Pune

- They are going to grow exponentially soon, so need a strong candidate.
