Department: Financial Inclusion / Micro Banking / Business Correspondent (BC).

Reports To: Head Financial Inclusion / Chief Operating Officer.

Role Objective:

Lead and manage the end-to-end Business Correspondent (BC) operations to ensure seamless delivery of banking services through BC partners/agents, drive financial inclusion goals, and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:

- Forecast and allocate budgets, resources, and KPIs for BC operations.

Operations Management:

- Oversee onboarding, training, and monitoring of BC agents and partner organizations.

- Ensure smooth cash management, transaction processing, and service delivery at BC outlets.

Compliance & Risk Control:

- Ensure adherence to RBI and bank policies, AML/KYC norms, and information security standards.

- Monitor fraud risk, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions.

Technology & Process:

- Liaise with IT teams for CBS/AEPS/UPI integration and system uptime.

- Drive process automation, MIS reporting, and performance dashboards.

Performance Management:

- Set targets, review productivity, and implement incentive programs for BC agents.

- Conduct regular field visits and partner reviews.

Stakeholder Coordination:

- Work with product, marketing, and compliance teams for new initiatives.

- Manage relationships with external BC network partners and regulators.
