As they continue to scale, so seeking an experienced Accounts Head to lead the finance and accounts function.

About the Role:

The Accounts Head will be responsible for overseeing the complete accounting function of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the end-to-end accounting function (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, etc.

- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books of accounts.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Income Tax, and other applicable laws.

- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and budgets for management.

- Manage relationships with auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.

- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management.

- Establish and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and processes.

- Provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making in collaboration with leadership.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts & finance team.

Key Requirements:

- 8+ years of proven experience in accounts and finance, preferably in the FMCG/consumer goods sector.

- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, statutory compliances, and financial reporting.

- Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and financial systems.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

- CA / CMA qualification preferred; Commerce graduates with relevant experience may also apply
