Job Responsibilities:
- Clearly define significant opportunities within target markets and drive the technical team to ensure these opportunities are fully pursued through our existing instruments, chemicals, and reagents.
- Expand Hanna brand awareness throughout the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives.
- Work with the Marketing team to implement promotion activities through print and online channels.
- Manage sales activities of the team by performing the following duties:
- Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
- Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Develop annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
- Direct implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
- Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research.
- Build, develop and manage a technical sales team capable of carrying out needed sales initiatives.
Expectations:
- Development of top talent within the sales team.
- Ability to work in and commute to Navi Mumbai, India.
Job Qualifications:
- MBA preferred.
- 10+ years Sales experience.
- 5+ years Sales Management experience.
- 5+ years local market experience
.
- Chemistry/ Biology background a must.
- Must be located in or directly around Navi Mumbai.
- The ability to read and understand technical articles related to applications for our products.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including making presentations that have a positive impact in both local and English languages.
- Demonstrated strategic planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office including PowerPoint.
