Job Location: Mumbai/Nagpur/Lucknow/Bangalore/Vizag/Jammu
KEY DELIVERABLES:
- Marketing and selling to the High-End Commercial, Industrial, Outdoor Lighting Projects through Specifiers like Architects, Consultants, Contractors, Lighting Project Consultants,
- Government and Semi Government institutes.
- Getting the product approved by specifiers.
- Developing and nurturing the project funnel.
- Working with customers on understanding requirements.
- Making technical and commercial proposals.
- Project mapping order closure.
- Manage the database of specifiers, users and execute customer engagement programs
- Generating various reports and analyzing for the business development.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to penetrate the institutional market.
- Identify and target key segments for institutional sales.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with government clients.
- Meet and exceed sales targets for the institutional business segment.
- Ensure outstanding payments are collected within the defined timelines.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
- Gather extensive market information on products.
- Conduct market mapping analyse market information to identify products growth possibilities opportunities for new products.
- Provide insights to adapt sales strategies based on market dynamics.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing and logistics, to ensure smooth execution of institutional sales.
- Provide regular updates to the senior management team on sales performance and market trends.
- Managing, training and motivating team to drive revenue growth.
- Monitoring the team performance, analyzing sales data, periodical forecasting and reporting to sales head.
ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Proven experience in sales roles with a focus on institutional clients.
- In-depth understanding of the institutional market.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Candidate must be dynamic with a go-getter attitude and the ability to adapt with changing market scenario.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
QUALIFICATIONS: B-Tech/Diploma/MBA or any Science Graduate with minimum 5 + years of work experience in Institutional sales in consumer durable/ electronic/ electric industry.
