Job Description:
HairOriginals is seeking a creative and experienced Manager/Head - Social Media to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating engaging content for Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram), with a proven ability to drive engagement and brand awareness. This role requires a combination of creative thinking, strategic planning, and hands-on content creation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media content strategies for Meta platforms to achieve business objectives.
- Create high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content (images, videos, graphics, and written) tailored for Facebook and Instagram while working with the design team and the brand face.
- Plan and manage content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
- Collaborate with the team to align content with overall marketing campaigns and brand messaging.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of social media content, generating insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and platform updates in social media marketing.
- Engage with the audience, responding to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely manner.
- Conduct A/B testing to identify the most effective content types and strategies.
- Manage relationships with influencers, partners, and external vendors as needed.
Required Skill Set:
- 6+ years of experience in social media content creation, specifically for Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram).
- Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and design.
- Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics) and ability to derive actionable insights.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic photography and videography principles.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
Qualifications:
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
- Proven track record of creating successful social media content that drives engagement and brand awareness.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of content created for Meta platforms.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
