Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Finance Manager to join our team in Mumbai. This individual will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing financial operations, driving strategic financial decisions, and supporting the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
SOP Creation & Adherence:
- Develop and implement financial SOPs, ensuring compliance across all financial activities.
- Regularly review and update SOPs to align with best practices and company requirements.
Client Management:
- Oversee timely and accurate billing for clients, ensuring that all invoices are issued promptly.
- Communicate with clients regarding any changes in margins, pricing, or billing adjustments as necessary.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and manage the company's cash flow position.
- Work with other teams to ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs while maintaining financial stability.
Strategic Decision Support:
- Collaborate with senior management to support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights, forecasting trends, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
Cost Management & Efficiency:
- Identify opportunities for cost control and process improvements.
- Develop financial models to assess profitability and evaluate investment opportunities.
Assist in Audit Closure:
- Support the audit process, ensuring all financial records and statements are accurate and ready for review.
- Assist in closing audits in a timely manner and resolve any audit-related issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- A strong understanding of financial management is essential, with a sharp business acumen and the ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, financial modeling). Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a focus on business growth, cost efficiency, and financial performance optimization.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address financial challenges and drive business success.
- Business Acumen: Ability to quickly understand and interpret business operations and provide strategic financial insights that directly impact business decisions.
