Group Strategy Head - B2B Retail

The Role

A pivotal leadership position partnering directly with the Group CEO to shape and execute the strategic agenda across a diversified portfolio of companies in multiple geographies. The role requires a rare combination of financial mastery, strategic vision, and global business acumen to drive growth, transformation, and synergy across the group.

Key Mandate

- Architect the Groups Strategic Roadmap Formulate and implement strategies that deliver sustainable growth and shareholder value.

- Global Portfolio Oversight Align business plans across multiple industries and geographies to the Group vision.

- M&A and Investments Lead opportunity assessment, due diligence, valuation, and integration for acquisitions, JVs, and partnerships.

- Performance & Transformation Drive operational excellence, portfolio optimization, and turnaround strategies for underperforming assets.

- Board & Investor Engagement Deliver compelling business cases and strategic insights to the CEO, Board, and key stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience: 15 - 20+ years in corporate strategy, investment banking, management consulting, or senior leadership in large diversified groups.

Expertise: Deep financial insight with proven track record in strategy execution, M&A, and managing multi-country portfolios.

Education: MBA/PGDM (Finance preferred); CFA/CA preferred.

Traits: Strategic thinker, commercially astute, globally minded, culturally agile, and adept at influencing at the highest levels.
