Job Overview
We're seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Chief of Staff - CEO's Office (Business Finance) to support the CEO in driving financial discipline, operational efficiency, and business performance across our group. This role will focus on hands-on financial planning, analysis, and monitoring of business operations, including factories, supply chain models, and new projects. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy of MIS, evaluating capex proposals, and supporting the CEO in data-backed decision making.
This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable with numbers and execution, who can partner with business, plant, and finance teams to bring clarity, rigor, and accountability to financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Management Reporting (MIS): Ensure timely, accurate, and insightful MIS reporting across plants, supply chain, and business units; analyze variances vs. budget and provide recommendations.
- Budgeting & Planning: Drive annual operating plan, plant-level budgeting, and business case preparation for new projects; monitor actuals vs. plan and highlight corrective actions.
- Capex & Project Finance: Evaluate new capex proposals, prepare detailed IRR/NPV analysis, and track project outcomes against approved plans.
- Supply Chain & Operations Finance: Support design and evaluation of new supply chain models, including cost-benefit analysis and financial feasibility studies.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct deep-dive financial modeling, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing to support investment decisions and operational choices.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with plant heads, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment of financial goals with business performance.
- Special Projects: Support new plant evaluations, greenfield/brownfield project feasibility, and other strategic finance initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- MBA (Finance) + Chartered Accountant (CA) / B.Tech + MBA (Finance)
- 7-12 years of experience in business finance, corporate FP&A, plant finance, or project finance roles
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and IRR/NPV analysis
- Experience in E-commerce, D2C Brands, manufacturing/industrial or multi-plant operations preferred
- Ability to work across teams, manage multiple priorities, and communicate insights clearly
