Key Responsibilities:
- IPO Investor Communication: Develop and execute communication strategies to engage potential investors for upcoming Initial Public Offerings (IPOs). This includes identifying target investor segments, crafting compelling communication materials, and managing the flow of information.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients (corporates, promoters), institutional investors, high-net-worth individuals, and intermediaries. Act as a primary point of contact and nurture these relationships to generate business opportunities.
- Pitch Deck Development: Lead the development and customization of high-quality pitch decks and other presentation materials to effectively communicate our firm's capabilities, transaction expertise, and value proposition to prospective clients.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential client segments, and new business opportunities within the Investment Banking landscape, particularly related to IPOs and debt/equity financing.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations related to business development activities, tracking progress against targets and providing insights to senior management.
- Event Planning: Plan and execute business development events, seminars, and conferences to network with potential clients, showcase our expertise, and generate leads. This includes managing logistics, invitations, and follow-up activities.
- Brand & Crisis Management: Contribute to the firm's brand building efforts by representing the company professionally at industry events and client meetings. Assist in managing communication during any potential crisis situations, ensuring consistent and accurate messaging.
- Lead Generation and Tracking: Proactively identify and generate new business leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and industry databases. Maintain accurate records of leads and business development activities in CRM systems.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the Investment Banking deal teams, research analysts, and other internal stakeholders to develop tailored solutions for clients and ensure a seamless client experience.
- Understanding of Investment Banking Products: Develop a strong understanding of the firm's various Investment Banking products and services, including IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, debt financing, and other capital market offerings.
Qualification:
- MBA in Marketing from a recognized institution.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in business development within the financial services sector.
- Preferred experience in the Loan industry, Banking, NBFCs, or similar financial institutions with exposure to Investment Banking activities.
- Proven track record of successfully generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- CRM Knowledge: Experience with using CRM systems to manage leads and track business development activities.
