Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Performance Marketing Team Lead to head our paid media vertical. You will lead a team of media buyers, execute high-performing campaigns, and build strategies that convert across Google, Meta, and other digital ecosystems. This role demands a sharp analytical mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of performance marketing frameworks for both lead generation and eCommerce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and scaling of paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), YouTube, and Display.
- Define campaign goals, budgets, and KPI benchmarks (ROAS, CPA, CTR, Conversion Rate) in collaboration with strategy and client servicing teams.
- Oversee and guide campaign managers and junior marketers, providing mentorship, reviews, and strategic direction.
- Build and refine audience segmentation, funnel strategies, and retargeting flows.
- Supervise and collaborate with creative teams to align messaging and visual identity with performance goals.
- Ensure proper tracking and attribution via Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and server-side integrations (e.g., CAPI).
- Leverage tools like Google Analytics, Ads Manager, and Data Studio to derive insights and present structured performance reports to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Conduct A/B testing across ads, audiences, placements, and landing pages to identify high-performing variations.
- Stay ahead of platform updates and algorithm changes to optimize strategies proactively.
- Represent performance marketing in strategy discussions, client presentations, and internal review meetings.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 46 years of hands-on experience in digital performance marketing (Google & Meta Ads).
- Proven track record in managing large-scale lead generation and eCommerce campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of ad platforms, campaign structures, conversion tracking, and funnel optimization.
- Proficient in Meta Business Suite, Google Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and Tag Manager.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in building insightful dashboards/reports.
- Excellent project management, time management, and team leadership abilities.
- Google Ads and/or Meta Blueprint certifications are a strong advantage.
- Agency experience is preferred.
