Job Description:
We are looking for a highly strategic and result-driven GM / Sr.
GM - Sales & Marketing to lead the Diabetology Division at a national level.
This leadership role involves driving business growth, managing a large sales and marketing team, and strengthening the brand portfolio across the Indian market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust sales and marketing strategies for the Diabetology portfolio to achieve business targets and market expansion.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a large team comprising Zonal Sales Managers, Regional Managers, and Product Managers.
- Plan and execute product launches, marketing campaigns, and brand-building initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to formulate effective business strategies.
- Drive P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and ensure high ROI on marketing investments.
- Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth business operations.
- Conduct regular field visits, team reviews, and training sessions to enhance field productivity and engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), diabetologists, and channel partners.
Candidate Requirements:
- B.Pharm / B.Sc with MBA in Marketing or related field.
- 15-20 years of strong experience in pharmaceutical sales & marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in managing Diabetology products.
- Proven track record of team leadership, product launches, and national-level portfolio management.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for business reviews and field visits.
