Job Summary:


We are looking for an experienced sales leader to expand the market reach and drive growth in the liquor packaging segment. This role requires a strategic mindset, proven B2B sales expertise in the Liquor closure or allied sector, and strong leadership capabilities. The Sales Head will play a pivotal role in executing sales strategies, expanding market share, and optimising operations for both existing and potential clients. The role involves traveling, particularly in regions with a strong demand for liquor packaging solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


- Sales Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive B2B sales strategy for the Liquor Bottle Cap Division. This includes defining sales goals, identifying target markets, and aligning sales channels to the business's revenue objectives.


- New Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with the product development team to provide market insights, customer feedback, and sales data, guiding the development of new and improved products in the bottle cap segment. Ensure that product offerings meet industry standards and customer demands.


- Market Penetration: Identify and target key regions across India and globally, where demand for liquor bottle caps is growing. Customize sales approaches based on regional dynamics, ensuring that the company's products gain traction in key markets.


- Receivables and Cash Flow Management: Ensure effective receivables management to optimize cash flow. Monitor outstanding amounts and develop strategies to minimize credit periods while maintaining strong customer relationships.


- Team Leadership & Development: Inspire and lead a high-performing sales team. Mentor and train the team to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets, fostering a collaborative, results-oriented culture.


- Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and report on sales performance, ensuring timely and accurate reporting on key metrics. Use this data to adjust strategies and improve sales processes.


- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including major liquor brands and distributors. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure long-term loyalty and satisfaction.


- Competitive and Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the liquor packaging industry. Use these insights to adjust B2B sales strategies


- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, logistics, production, and R&D teams to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies and product delivery.


Qualifications & Experience Required:


Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications in Sales Management.

Experience: 10-16 years of sales management experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably with exposure to caps and closure solutions, or similar industries.


Skills & Attributes Required:


- Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the packaging industry, particularly in the liquor segment, including key players, market trends, and customer preferences in the B2B space.


- Leadership & People Management: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams, with a focus on mentorship, performance management, and fostering a positive work environment.


- Proven Sales Success: A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment, particularly in the manufacturing or packaging sector..


- Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen: A strategic mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities, develop actionable plans, and execute them effectively.


- Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders. Skilled in negotiation and relationship-building.


- Customer Focused: A commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
