Position: General Manager - Sales & Marketing
Location: Mumbai
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager - Sales & Marketing to lead the marketing and business development efforts for Extra High Voltage (EHV) Cables (66kV to 500kV) & HT power cables. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth in the Government (B2G) segment, with a primary focus on utilities, infrastructure, railways, power sector, airports, and large-scale government projects across India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Development: Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance the brand positioning of EHV, HV cables in the B2B & B2G.
- Government & Public Sector Engagement: Identify and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, power utilities, SEB's, railway authorities, airport authorities, and other public sector bodies.
- Tendering & Bidding: Oversee the participation in government tenders, ensuring competitive pricing, compliance, and effective bid management.
- Market Expansion & Penetration: Lead efforts to secure high-value contracts for EHV cables in major infrastructure projects.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with EPC contractors, regulatory authorities, and consultants to drive adoption of high-quality power transmission solutions.
- Pan-India Operations: Spearhead marketing initiatives across the country, ensuring regional teams are aligned with corporate growth objectives.
- Industry & Policy Monitoring: Stay updated with government policies, regulations, and industry trends to leverage new business opportunities.
- Government Liaisoning: Strong understanding of government procurement processes, tenders, and public sector bidding.
- Leadership & Strategy: Ability to lead a team, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure business growth in the B2G domain.
Experience: 15+ years in marketing & business development of EHV & HT cables.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering; MBA preferred.
