General Manager - Rewards
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic GM Rewards to lead the design and management of reward programs across our Middle East & Africa markets. This role will focus on building competitive and sustainable reward strategies that drive performance, engagement, and retention in a fast-evolving business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead short-term incentive planning and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Drive annual budgeting and forecasting for compensation and benefits.
- Design and implement Long-Term Incentive (LTI) programs tailored to business and talent needs.
- Develop sales incentive structures that motivate performance while ensuring cost effectiveness.
- Provide expertise on reward frameworks in Africa markets, considering local practices and regulatory nuances.
- Address market challenges such as devaluation, inflation, and volatility through innovative compensation strategies.
- Partner with business leaders, HR, and Finance to ensure reward programs are competitive and sustainable.
- Conduct benchmarking, external market analysis, and leverage data for decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10 to 14 years of experience in Rewards / Compensation & Benefits, preferably in FMCG or consumer-focused industries.
- Proven expertise in incentive design, budgeting, and LTI programs.
- Strong exposure to Africa markets with understanding of local compensation complexities.
- Solid analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
