JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Overview:

As the General Manager for Projects Planning, Quality Control, and Cost Control, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of project planning, execution, quality assurance, and cost management within the company. You will play a vital role in ensuring successful project completion, adherence to quality standards, and efficient cost control measures.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities Project Planning:

- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting.

- Coordinate with various teams, including designers, Consultants, PMC, contractors, suppliers, and clients, to ensure effective project planning and execution.

- Conduct regular project meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and make necessary adjustments to the project plan.

Quality Control:

- Establish and enforce quality control standards, checklist and procedures to ensure that all projects meet or exceed client expectations.

- Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to monitor project progress and identify any deviations from quality standards.

- Collaborate with the design and execution teams / vendors to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Cost Control:

- Develop and implement effective cost control measures to optimize project budgets and expenditures.

- Monitor project costs, analyze variances, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to negotiate favorable pricing with vendors and suppliers.

Team Management:

- Provide leadership and guidance to the project planning, quality control, and cost control teams.

- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.

- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to ensure the team's continuous growth and improvement.

Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, PMC, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and maintain strong working relationships.

- Communicate project updates, milestones, and any potential issues to stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.

- Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

- Tentative KRA till probation: (Follow the updated file which will be shared after KRA reviews, every quarter)

- Planning and scheduling of the project

- Implementation of Assigned projects Timely completion of projects (Schedule to be prepared, tracked and reviewed)

- Quality of projects

- Client satisfaction (will be considered only for projects being completed in the given quarter. 2 projects scheduled for completion in Q2)

- Project Cost Savings (All projects that are running in 3 months to be considered. If they are not completed, then prorate budgeting v/s actuals to be taken) COPQ (cost of Poor quality- cost of rework)

- Support in business conversions by pitching for projects, being a part of the Prebid meetings, preparation and presentation of project specific technical / capability presentations

- Special project: exhausting / utilizing the unused and dead stock to the maximum extent possible, in the running projects
