We have any exiting opportunity for the post of General Manager - Projects & Operations with our leading client in Chennai (Guindy).

Mode of Employment : Full time / Permanent - Direct role with Client
Mode of Work : Work From Office | Mon - FRI
Work Location : Guindy, Chennai.
Role - Requirement & Responsibilities:
- Proficient 18 + years in Civil & Structural Engineering infrastructure projects with at least 5 + years in a senior leadership role (Director / VP / COO / BU Head /General Manager / similar), with larger team handling experience.
- Strong experience in Technical Design & Project management of Structural, Steel, BIM, Civil & MEP projects.
- Good experience in P&L Management, Strategic Planning, Operational Leadership, Business Development & Market Analysis.
- Leadership & Strategy : To lead the India business, define & execute growth Strategies & drive operational excellence.
- Operational Efficiency : To optimize processes, enhance productivity & improve profit margins.
- Project Delivery : To oversee the large-scale engineering & Design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, quality & budget control.
- Innovation & Automation : To foster technical adoption, BIM implementation & process automation for continuous improvement.
- Business Development : To identify & convert new business opportunities in Structural Steel, Civil & Composite projects across International market & in India.
- Market Expansion : To analyse market trends, explore niche segments & develop go-to-market strategies.
- Tendering & Contracts : To manage bids, negotiations & contracts to maximize commercial benefits.
- Stakeholder Engagement : To build strong relationships with clients, partners & internal teams.
- Governance & Compliance : To ensure policy implementation, internal audits & adherence to regulations.
- Client Relations : To engage with key clients to understand their needs & ensure customer satisfaction. Lead negotiations & manage contracts to secure beneficial outcomes.
- Financial Management : To develop & manage budgets, financial forecasts & reports. Enhance profitability by monitoring financial performance & optimizing resource allocation by making sure the profitability is managed well.
